  15. When you are using the Windows NT Disk Administrator, there is an
  16. option to not assign a drive letter to a partition by choosing Drive
  17. Letter..., Do Not Assign a Drive Letter from the Partition menu. When
  18. you reboot after making this change, any non-fault-tolerant partitions
  19. will still be assigned the next available drive letter.

  21. On fault-tolerant partitions, Windows NT will not assign a drive
  22. letter, even after reboot. These partitions include Volume Sets,
  23. Mirror Sets, and Stripe Sets with and without Parity.
